How to become a Volunteer

If anyone feels that they are able to give some of their time and enjoy helping and interacting with others who are in need of help, then our organisation needs Volunteers to assist with our ongoing support to our local community.

Assistance is needed for the following :

Volunteer Drivers - driving of clients to Specialists, Hospitals, Medical Appointments (often as far as Brisbane or Hervey Bay);

Car Washers - each Saturday our cars need to be washed and cleaned;

Raffle Sellers - selling tickets for raffles and our money board;

Bingo Helpers - helping at the Bingo games on Sundays at the Vietnam Hall, Cooloola Cove.

All that is required, is for you to come into the office and fill out a form including your Name, Address, Phone Numbers, Medicare and Driving License Number - this will be processed as a Volunteer and you will then be able to start work with us. All information given is in confidence according to our Confidentiality Code.
